Rhinos are a critically endangered species.  30% of the rhino population has been lost over the last 10 years. At the current rate of poaching, rhinos will be wiped out of existence in a few years.  

769 rhinos were poached in 2018. 1, 028 rhinos were poached in 2017.  With only just over 4,000 black rhino and 20,000 white rhino left, the

Several effective rhino conservation non-profit organizations and initiatives have been established in South Africa.  They are made up of extraordinary teams, 100% dedicated to the cause of rhino conservation.  They are actively involved in training ranger teams on the ground and in the air, equipping them with the necessary tools to do t

Several effective rhino conservation non-profit organizations and initiatives have been established in South Africa.  They are made up of extraordinary teams, 100% dedicated to the cause of rhino conservation.  They are actively involved in training ranger teams on the ground and in the air, equipping them with the necessary tools to do their jobs effectively, safely dehorning rhinos to keep them safe, and translocating rhinos to other areas of Africa where they have an excellent chance of survival.

It's very expensive to keep rhino's safe.  It costs $3,500 to dehorn a rhino.  It costs $50,000 to relocate a rhino. It costs $3,200 to put tracking equipment onto a rhino, and it costs between $5,000 - $10,000 per ranger per year to be trained and equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively fight the war on poaching an
